Waterfalls are mostly very pretty and are always fascinating to watch.
While exploring Highway 123 (that is its name,) Liddy and I came across this small waterfall tumbling down the mountainside
Oregon’s 2nd tallest waterfall, Salt Creek Falls plunges 286 feet over basalt cliffs into the basin below.

Liddy and I recently hiked down to Umtanum Falls. An easy walk just south of Ellensburg, WA.
Falls? Creek? Deception Creek falls a long way from south of Washington SR 2 to join the Tye River. Of course most everything near Stevens Pass is damn near vertical.
