When last we posted, it was about the Middle Lewis River Falls. A beautiful waterfall with a lot of character on the Lewis River in Southwestern Washington.
Well, if you hike a pleasant 2 miles farther up river, you will come to the Upper Lewis River Falls.
It was about an hour before sunset when we arrived at these upper falls. The light was good. The mist rising from the trees above the falls added to the atmosphere. The clouds opening up to reveal a blue sky promised a bright day for tomorrow.
About the photo
I decided to shoot this as an HDR Panorama which was assembled in Lightroom. I have to do a better job of taking notes because I can’t remember if I put a neutral density (ND) filter on the camera. Don’t think so as it was getting on towards sunset.
Thanks for the moment.
