Liddy and I were on a hike near Mowich Lake in Mt. Rainier National Park. In one of the lakes we visited was quite the population of Northwestern Salamanders. While I was photographing the mountain, Liddy was intently studying these strange creatures which floated just below the water.
I didn’t have a polarizer mounted on my camera so there is some surface glare on the water. I have enhanced the creatures she was looking at so you can see more of their detail.
A fun moment.
