As September closed, Liddy and I left June at a three-day quilting workshop in Bellevue, taking a road trip over the North Cascades Highway. Washington State Route 20 is the official name, but North Cascades is so much more appropriate.
We drove north, up Interstate 5 to Burlington where we crossed the Skagit, turning east onto SR20. This view of the river is several miles past the small town of Sedro-Woolley.
About the Image
Nothing special here. It is an HDR. As it was close to noon, and the light was what it was. I find HDR works well in these situations.
