Getting Pumped for the Faire!

Well it has been just a wild ride this week! So much going on. When I finished reviewing the calendar, I found we would be making several trips to Canada for friends and family visits leaving us only one weekend to take in the Washington Midsummer Renaissance Faire.

The Faire outing is with the Tacoma Photographic Society, and because the Faire is just down the street from us, June said we would coordinate it. We went last year with our daughter, grand kids, dogs… (if we had a cat, I think it would have come too.) Anyway, I didn’t have a lot of fun because the first canon blast caused Blue, our daughters dog, to drag me off to the nearest hole. Not a fan of big noises that one. Liddy is better, but not by much. So, when June suggested the event this year, I was not too enthusiastic.

Now that I have put the promo email out to the club, I have had an opportunity to review photos from Faires past and, well I guess I am getting a little pumped. We won’t have the kids this year, and we will have our photo club friends. I might just have a chance to get some awesome images this year, and enjoy the Faire!

These three images are from the first Faire we went to when it was held in Gig Harbor back in 2007.
