I was up to Mt. St. Helens and the Johnston Ridge Observatory again a few weeks ago. This time with Victor Dallons and the Tacoma Photographic Society. We went up to shoot flowers and grand vistas. It isn’t hard to find vistas on a days like this, the trick is finding a cooperative wildflower.
In this case, I set the camera upside down in the tripod right beside the paved path and set the composition. Memo to self… while laying on the ground watching the colors change is ok, it would be better from a chair.
