Last Saturday, Tacoma Photographic Society, went on a field trip to the Cedar Creek Grist Mill in Woodland, WA, and then on to the Ridgefield National Wildlife Refuge. Two intersting places to spend a moment in the Northwest.
This Northern Harrier was perched by the road so we could hang out the windows of the Prius and shoot away. You can just imagine what he was thinking by the look in his eyes – silly humans!
A lovely bird, this one. There were many others, most too far away for a good shot. A wonderful place to take the family and observe both birds and animals (deer and beaver were spotted)
