Tomahawk!

Tomahawk!

In August the big Seattle Moment is Sea Fair. Parades, parties, boats and airplanes.

Spend the day at Genesee Park and you will be assaulted by action, and noise from the ground, from the lake, and from the air. While I enjoyed the Blue Angels spectacular, the war birds from the Flying Heritage Collection, located at Payne Field, in Everett, WA. was much more interesting to me. This Curtiss P-40C Tomahawk is the only one of its kind still in the air. Certainly not as exciting to watch as todays aerobatics planes, but in her day, she could be depended on to get the job done.
